Yet Another 'Someone Else's Prayer'
Almost every morning my phone wakes me up to a tune that tells me that someone is sending me yet another ‘someone else’s prayer’. The prayer is usually attended by a verse, but the prayer is almost always from someone else’s computer. The sender-of-years knows me closely, and while wishing me well in this high act, their own love-of-prayer is never exhibited, their own prayer-in-flow with their own ‘verily, verily’ spoken thought or joy to me, is missing. The need in my life could always use a hearing-tell that my fellow has grown another ‘inch’ closer with their Lord-Savior. In our textual society this level of commune among men is too few and spare between. Oh how that joy is the wanting; even that time when we all will learn to become brethren and give the satisfying words of our soul, one to another, and the more as we see that the day is now darkening with the approachment of the Deliverer.
